Shoe Technique Center Partnership
The Shoe Technique Center is a cradle for innovative techniques and talent development in Taiwan’s footwear industry. Established in 1991, it focuses on innovative design, production techniques, material research and development (R&D), quality testing and certification in footwear and assistive equipment. It conducts research and techniques transfer across various domains and facilitates talent training to align Taiwan’s footwear industry with global standards.
New Yu Ming Machinery’s R&D department aims to significantly enhance work efficiency, incorporate ergonomic principles, and prioritize mechanics considerations in footwear machinery design to create user-friendly, easy-to-use equipment that reduces workplace injuries. Therefore, New Yu Ming Machinery has maintained a long-term partnership with the Shoe Technique Center. Collaborative projects include technical research and transfer and information gathering on global market trends, vendor data, industry dynamics, trade opportunities, and exhibition information. This collaboration aims to innovate products and expand into international markets to meet diverse market demands.

Meeting the diverse demands of various types of shoe machinery has always been a priority for New Yu Ming Machinery. Therefore, we have formed a 15-person team with NIKE’s Fung Tai CPU1, establishing a partnership for mutual business endeavors. Simultaneously, we collaborate closely with New Balance as a developer for new shoes, fostering a cooperative model to innovate in shoe-making processes and machinery design, creating new trends in the industry.

Over the past 40 years, New Yu Ming Machinery has evolved from developing standalone shoe-making products to gradually introducing Industry 4.0 shoe production systems.
